چکیده

این مطالعه با هدف بررسی تأثیر روش آموزش درس زبان انگلیسی از طریق تلفن ‌همراه و پست الکترونیکی بر میزان یادگیری و انگیزه پیشرفت دانشجویان انجام شد. این پژوهش از نظر نوع تحقیق کاربردی و از نظر روش نیمه تجربی با طرح پیش‌آزمون و پس‌آزمون و گروه کنترل بود. جامعه‌ آماری مورد مطالعه شامل 521 نفر از دانشجویان دانشگاه بیرجند بود که در سال تحصیلی 90- 1389 درس زبان عمومی داشتند. از جامعه مذکور تعداد 102 دانشجو به روش نمونه‌گیری در دسترس انتخاب شدند. از میان نمونه انتخاب شده یک گروه (38 نفر) به‌طور تصادفی از طریق تلفن‌همراه و گروه دیگر (26 نفر) از طریق پست الکترونیکی آموزش دیدند. همچنین، 38 نفر به‌عنوان گروه کنترل با روش معمول تحت آموزش قرار گرفتند. به‌منظور اطمینان از همسطح بودن گروهها از نمره آزمون زبان و معدل نیمسالِ دانشجویان استفاده شد. در این پژوهش برای سنجش میزان یادگیری دانشجویان از آزمون معلم ساخته (محقق ساخته) استفاده و اعتبار آزمون با استفاده از روش کودر- ریچاردسون(20=KR) معادل 86% محاسبه شد. انگیزه پیشرفت با استفاده از پرسشنامه انگیزه پیشرفت هرمنس سنجیده شد. در گزارش هرمنس ضریب پایایی به روش بازآزمایی برابر82% و به روش آلفای کرونباخ 84% اعلام شده است. تجزیه و تحلیل داده‌های به‌دست آمده از آزمون درس زبان انگلیسی و نمرات حاصل از پرسشنامه با روش تحلیل واریانس یکراهه نشان داد که روش آموزش از طریق تلفن‌ همراه و پست الکترونیکی بر یادگیری و انگیزه پیشرفت دانشجویان در درس زبان انگلیسی تأثیر مثبت داشته است. همچنین، آزمون تعقیبی توکی نشان داد که میانگین تغییرات در نمره آزمون درس زبان انگلیسی و انگیزه پیشرفت دانشجویان در گروه آزمایشی استفاده پست‌الکترونیکی به‌طور معنادار از دو گروه دیگر بیشتر است.

چکیده [English]

This study was aimed to investigate the effects of English language teaching method via mobile phone and e-mail on level of student learning and achievement's motivation. The study was an applied and semi-empirical type utilizing pre- test post- test and control groups. The statistical population included 521 Birjand University's students who were enrolled in a general English language course. A purposive sample of 102 students were drawn from the population and randomly divided into two mobile (n=38) and e-mail (n=26) experimental groups. In addition, a control group of 38 students were thought in a conventional way. To evaluate students' learning, a researcher made test was used. The validity of the instrument was determined (.86) by Kudr - Richardson Formula 20. Achievement motivation was measured through Hermen's Achievement Motivation Questionnaire. Hermen reported the retest's coefficient and Cronbach's alpha of .82 and .84, respectively. Data analysis of language test and questionnaires' test scores, using one way ANOVA, revealed that teaching method through phone and e-mail had positive effects on students' English language learning and achievement's motivation. Also, Tukey's test showed that the average change in proficiency test scores and achievement's motivation are significantly more in the e-mail experimental group than the other groups.
