چکیده

پذیرش دانشجویان در آزمون کارشناسی ارشد به عنوان یک آزمون غربالگر و در مقیاس وسیع تحت تأثیر عوامل متعددی قرار دارد و هدف از ارائه این مقاله ارزیابی و مطالعه این عوامل با استفاده از نظریه های مرتبط با «موفقیت تحصیلی» است. طرح پژوهش از نوع پس رویدادی و جامعه آماری تحقیق شامل کلیه شرکت کنندگان در آزمون کارشناسی ارشد سال 1385 است که فقط در یک رشته امتحانی شرکت کرده‌ و به صورت تمام شماری مورد مطالعه قرار گرفته‌اند. روش آماری به کار رفته برای تجزیه و تحلیل داده‌ها با توجه به نوع داده‌ها رگرسیون لوجستیک بوده است. نتایج به دست آمده نشان می دهد که متغیرهای جنسیت، سن، معدل دوره کارشناسی، وضعیت اشتغال، گروه آموزشی، تحصیلات پدر و شغل پدر و مادر به طور معناداری با متغیر قبولی در آزمون رابطه دارند. «تحصیلات مادر» تنها متغیری است که رابطه معناداری با متغیر وابسته ندارد.

چکیده [English]

Success of students in the nationwide postgraduate exam depends on many different factors. This paper analyses the effect of different factors based on academic success theory according to Ex-post Facto research methodology. The survey includes all postgraduate candidates’ who wish to attend in one field exam in 2005. The logistic regression method has been used to analyze the data according to the type of data. The results of this analysis show that gender, age, total grade of B.Sc, job, parental job, field of exam and father education of candidates have great impact on examination grades and as a result in university and college acceptance as well. The results show that mother education of candidates does not have a significant relationship in acceptance of candidates. This paper confirms the academic success theories in postgraduate entrance examinations.
