The purpose of this study is causal attribution styles and learning strategies among Iranian university students and their relationships with IQ, creativity, sexuality and field of study. For this reason, 500 male and female students were chosen with systematic random sampling method from all students of university. Creativity Questionnaire, CDS Questionnaire, MSIQ Questionnaire and Reaven Test of IQ were used as instruments for collecting data and analyses.
Causal attribution styles have three dimensions and learning strategies have four levels. According to results, students with high IQ and creativity have internal locus of control and more acceptance control. These students persons, in compare to low IQ and creativity ones, were also used more high level of learning strategies.
Students with technical and engineering field of study, in compare with other field of study, have more internal locus of control, unstable, and acceptance control. When compare male and female students, there is not any differences in terms of causal attribution styles, but there is differences between them in terms of self-regulated strategies (males are more than females).
