چکیده

در این مقاله برخی از ابعاد اجتماعی و فرهنگی سیاست علم و فناوری در بریتانیا از منظر فرهنگی بررسی شده است. در مقدمه موضوع مقاله معرفی و سپس گفتمانها و زمینه فرهنگی علم و سیاست علم و فناوری در اروپا شرح داده شده است. در بخش دیگر مقاله نگرش پارلمان و دولت بریتانیا به علم و نیز نهادها و برنامه ‎های سیاستگذار و سیاست علم در بریتانیا، به خصوص شوراهای تحقیقات در این کشور، بررسی شده است. در ادامه مقاله به سیاستهای و برنامه ‎های فرهنگی بریتانیا برای تولید علم پرداخته و به خصوص برنامه‎ های مربوط به تحکیم پیوند علم و جامعه یا علم در خدمت مردم معرفی شده است. بخش پایانی مقاله به تحلیل ویژگی‎های سیاست تولید علم در بریتانیا اختصاص دارد.

چکیده [English]

This article examines and introduces some cultural and social aspects of recent British policies for science and technology production and promotion. The Introduction introduces different parts of the article and the core idea of each section. Then, discourses and cultural backgrounds of European science and technology policies are examined. The next section examines the British government and parliament’s attitudes and approaches towards science and technology. Then, governmental bodies for the science and technology policy such as the British Councils For Research and their policies are introduced. The next section is devoted to British policies for promoting and strengthening links and relations between science and technology and British society. The final section, reviews and examines some features and dimensions of British science and technology policy system.
