In this article the three approaches of Integration (imerdisciplinary ), Multi-disciplinary and Cross-disciplinary are introduced in curriculum as a field of study. Cross-disciplinary approach focuses on the development of the learner and process skills in the educational activities. The other two approaches mainly focus on scientific concepts, and the process Skills are considered secondary. The author, then, investigates the recent developments in integration of curricula in higher education. He reasons that the great social, political, economic and developments as well as increasing advancement of technology and re-current changes in profession and professional needs have led to the emergence of new horizon in inter-disciplinary co-operation and integration of disciplinary system as well as changes in the structure of curriculum.
