A Quantitative Study of physical Education Theses in All Higher Education Centers from 1980 to 2001 characteristics

Abstract
The purpose of present study was a quantitative. study of graduate and postgraduate theses in physical education on all higher education centers from 1980 to 2001. This investigation was perfom1ed with descriptive method. The sample of this study was all physical education theses that had been presented untill 2001 year. These variables were including: researcher name, title, year of representation, scientific areas, research goal and type, educational period, supervisor, speciality of supervisor. The descriptive statistics was used to describe data. Results of this study showed that: A check! ist was prepared regard to several important characteristics from all (N-743) of these (as title, researcher name, and etc). These frequency was presented separately about year of represe11ted, sex of research, researcher name, scientific area, supervisor, speciality of supervisor, researcher goal and type, center of higher education, sex of subjects, the geographic situation of statistic population, usage of body systems, body section, sport events, type of subjects illness.
