Privatization in the Higher Education Sector

The purpose of this article is to explain and analyze the process of privatization in the direction of maintaining the balance of various public-private factors in the higher education sector, First, it presents the historical background of privatization. Then, it explains the three basic ideas that led to the distinction between the public and private sectors. Then, in the costs and benefits section, he explains the reasons for governments' desire to privatize. After that, the forms of privatization, manifested in the form of tuition fees, commercial behavior and altruistic services, are analyzed. Finally, it deals with the formation of private institutions. In the final part of the article, which is dedicated to examples of privatization in Japan, Latin America and Australia, the author tries to analyze the process of privatization and its marginal ideas in these countries.
