An Introductory Study to Standardizing for Testing Administration on the Basis of Paticipants' Satisfaction Assessment in NEE

Abstract
Since last twenty years, the National Entrance examination (NEE) has been a significant criterion for evaluation of secondary school students to get admitted into higher education in Iran. The country’s entire involvement in taking this annual test indicates its importance. The whole concern of the society on this outcomes of the test imposes the necessity of high standards in administering it as a stake test.
This research is an introductory study on the present standards and the administration on the basis of participants’ satisfaction assessment in NEE.
The Sample includes 2531 individuals (1643 females and 888 males) who took part the exam in Tehran. The statistical method for data analysis in this survey is Factor Analysis.
The findings indicate that seven domains affected the satisfaction of test takers and provide the basic factors to standard testing administration. These factors are: Noise and any disturber of the testing session, Environmental conditions, Equipments to test takers, Instructions and guidance before and during the testing, Test difficulty and participants readiness.
These factors are important reference for professional test developers, policymakers, administrators and users in any test and assessment setting.
