چکیده

پژوهش حاضر با هدف بررسی وضعیت موجود و چشم انداز مطلوب کاربرد فناوری اطلاعات در نظام آموزشی دانشگاه انجام شده است. علاوه بر این، عوامل اصلی ایجاد کننده فاصله بین وضعیت موجود و مطلوب از نظر اساتید و دانشجویان مورد بررسی قرار گرفته است. روش پژوهشی، توصیفی از نوع پیمایشی و جامعه آماری اساتید و دانشجویان دانشگاه مازندران بودند. با استفاده از جدول مورگان و از طریق نمونه گیری تصادفی طبقه ای، 128 عضو هیئت علمی و 400 دانشجو انتخاب شدند. ابزارهای متنوعی شامل پرسشنامه، مشاهده، مصاحبه و تحلیل اسناد جهت گردآوری داده بکارگرفته شد. نتایج نشان داد که دانشجویان استفاده کم و اساتید استفاده متوسطی از فناوری اطلاعات دارند. اما دو گروه نگرش بسیار مثبتی نسبت به فناوری اطلاعات داشته و مهارت خود در استفاده از آن را متوسط ارزیابی نمودند. نتایج حاکی از وجود رابطه مثبت معنادار بین این سه متغیر در هر دو گروه بود. وضعیت مطلوب به زعم اساتید و دانشجویان شامل ورود جدی فناوری اطلاعات به فرایند آموزش و تدریس و ارزشیابی آموزشی، آموزش سواد اطلاعاتی، وجود کتابخانه آنلاین و بهبود زیر ساخت ها بویژه سرعت اینترنت بود. آنها چالش های اصلی در جهت تحقق وضعیت مطلوب را عدم مهارت کافی استاد و دانشجو در استفاده از فناوری اطلاعات، سیاست های آموزشی موجود و مشکلات مالی، مدیریتی، زیر ساختی و فرهنگی می دانستند.

چکیده [English]

The aim of this article is to report the results of an investigation in which the use of new learning technologies in higher education is explored. The report will specifically focus on University of Mazandaran, as a single case study. The research method in this exploratory study is descriptive.
Population in this research was students and faculty of Mazandaran University in first semester of 2009. In order to investigate current situation of applying information technology in academic space, stratified sampling is used and for investigate ideal situation, a purposeful sampling method is applied. Survey and other sources of data exploring view points of faculty and students about actual and ideal use of new technologies will be used to provide an account of the state of technology use in higher education. Results from analysis of questionnaire and informal observations have shown that the amount of utilization of computer technology by students and faculty members is low. results show professors and students mostly marked similar items such as: Improvements in infrastructures like internet speed, wireless network, elimination of filtering, increasing educational facilities like computers and laptops, providing online information resources and digital libraries are among the items both groups were marked. Infrastructural, financial, management, educational policies and skill obstacles are the most basic barriers that both students and professors emphasized on them.
