The Comparison of the Students Learning Styles by Gender, Academic Levels & Fields of Studies

چکیده [English]

This research was conducted to determine whether, in terms of learning styles, there is a difference between university student learning to sex academic statue, and field of study. The subjects were 410 students (254 males and 156 female) at graduate and undergraduate levels. The instrument used was Kalb's Learning Styles Inventory (LS T). The method used for data analysis was X and ANOVA. The results showed that: (1) there is no difference between males and females learning styles; (2)between students with different fields of studies there was significant, namely humanities students were mostly accomodates, medical students were generally assimilators, and technical students had largely divergent styles; (3) there was significant difference between graduate and undergraduate students, undergraduate students were mostly accomodators, while graduate students were mainly convergers.
