نقش ارزیابی بیرونی بر ارتقای کیفیت نظام آموزش عالی؛ مورد: دانشگاه علوم پزشکی بابل

چکیده

 امروزه، بهبود کیفیت نظام آموزشی عالی به­عنوان اصلی اساسی مورد توجه متصدیان این حوزه قرار گرفته است که در این بین بهره‌گیری از راهبرد ارزیابی بیرونی برای دستیابی به کیفیت در نظام دانشگاهی نقش کلیدی دارد. هدف این پژوهش ارزیابی بیرونی گروه آموزشی ترمیمی و مواد دندانی دانشکده دندانپزشکی دانشگاه علوم پزشکی بابل در سال تحصیلی 94-1393 با هدف ارتقای کیفیت این گروه بود. در این پژوهش توصیفی تعداد 109 نفر از اعضای گروه ترمیمی و مواد دندانی (دانشجویان، اعضای هیئت‌علمی، مدیر گروه و کارکنان گروه) در روند ارزیابی بیرونی مشارکت کردند. در این ارزیابی از پرسشنامه، مصاحبه، چک لیست و مشاهده برای گردآوری داده‌ها بهره گرفته شد. داده‌ها با استفاده از روشهای آمار توصیفی (میانگین و درصد) به کمک نرم‌افزار آماری (21)SPSS و روش وزندهی (ارزش‌گذاری) گزینه‌ها تجزیه و تحلیل شدند. طبق یافته‌های پژوهش بجز عامل اعضای هیئت‌ علمی و تجهیزات و امکانات که در وضعیت نسبتاً مطلوب قرار گرفت، دو عامل (مدیر گروه و اهداف و رسالت) در وضعیت مطلوب قرار گرفتند. درمجموع، وضعیت گروه مورد ارزیابی از نظر مطلوبیت در سطح نسبتاً خوبی قرار گرفت. از آنجایی که در این پژوهش عامل اعضای هیئت‌ علمی و تجهیزات و امکانات در وضعیت مطلوبی نبود و با توجه به جایگاه والای اعضای هیئت ‌علمی در تربیت افراد متخصص برای پاسخگویی به نیازهای سلامت جامعه و نیز نقش تجهیزات و امکانات در تسهیل دستیابی به اهداف مورد نظر گروه، ضروری است متصدیان امر برای برطرف کردن مشکلات این گروه اقدام لازم را مبذول دارند.

چکیده [English]

Today, improving the quality of higher education system is a basic consideration for higher education administrators. In the meantime, using external evaluation strategy plays a key role 1n reaching a quality university system. The purpose of this study was to externally evaluate the Department of Operative Dentistry and Dental School in Babol University of Medical Sciences during 2015-16 school-year. In this descriptive study, 109 members of the Department of Operative Dentistry and Dental including students, faculty members, department chairs and staffs) were participated. In this evaluation, questionnaire, interviews, checklist and observation were utilized to collect data. In order to analyze data, descriptive statistics (means and percentage, and weighting method) was used. According to the findings of this study, except from faculty members, equipment and facilities were considered in fairly favorable condition, the two other factors (missions and goals, and department chairs) were assessed favorable. Overall, the department condition was assessed relatively favorable.  In this study, faculty member and facility factors were not in good conditions. Due to the high position of faculty members in training specialists to meet the needs of public health, and the role of facilities in achievement the department's objectives, it is essential that the authorities take necessary actions to resolve the Department's problems.
