Analysis of Equal Opportunities Access in Development of Public Higher Education in Iran

Abstract

Equal opportunities access to higher edcation is one of the most important goals in many govemmental system which are based on social equity.To reach to this important goal, measuring the scale of access to educational opportunity in various locations of the country and among male and female in different levels of education such as primary school, high school and university in necessary.In addituon, finding the ways to reduce the gap of invalid access to education should be consiedered.
In this paper, firstly a survey on review is given. Secondly, different understanding of educational equity and the ways of access to it are described. To explain the ways to access to educational equity other counties experiences are considered. With doing a descriptive research, measuring the higher education scale in different states is done.
To do this the number of male & females students accepted in various governmental universities in noticed, from each state which are finally, the state in which more high school educated are accepted in universities with the use of curve are shown.
Furthermore, the states in which less high school educated are accepted in universities are shown and the results with diagrams and tables are explained.
